I have been on the look-out for a plugin that can display quotes randomly since my last attempt with another plugin. Quotes Collection plugin fits in just nicely. Installation was a breeze, just upload the plugin folder to ‘wp-content/plugins/’ directory, activate it, add your quotes and drag the ‘Random Quote’ widget to your sidebar. That’s it.

  • You can display the ‘Next quote’ link or turn if off.
  • You can use some built-in tags [‘<!—nextpage—>’] or HTML code inside the quotes/author/source field
  • You can place PHP code in your template to display your quotes other than the sidebar.
  • You can also modify the stylesheet.
